The Knights in Satan’s Service are officially in the throes of middle age hitting their 40th birthday this month, so they’ve made an album to celebrate the occasion.
KISS 40 (wonder if that 40 is anything to do with the anniversary) features the band’s biggest songs including rock and roll anthems like Detroit Rock City, Love Gun, Beth, Rock And Roll All Nite, Psycho Circus, Forever, I Was Made For Lovin’ You, Lick It Up, Heaven’s On Fire and Hell or Hallelujah. There are also live versions of such classics as Deuce, Cold Gin, Crazy Crazy Nights and the previously unreleased 1977 demo of Reputation.
KISS 40 is out on May 26th.
