Charlie Simpson has announced that his second solo album ‘Long Road Home’ is to be released on July 14th, the anticipated follow up to his debut solo offering ‘Young Pilgrim’ which went straight into the Top Ten in 2011.

Girls get ready to swoon. Busted fans across the nation blame Charlie Simpson for the break up of their much loved pop punk trio, with the new formation of McBusted we are about to ready to move on, forgive and forget and look to the future. The future where Charlie Simpson creates swoons, instead of incurring evil eyes? Apparently so. With the first single off his 2nd solo album Charlie has reintroduced himself as an acoustic master, with heart-melting whispers worthy of Ed Sheeran, Paolo Nutini or the musical recluse Rob Pattinson.

The first single ‘Winter Hymns’ is available as a free download if you pre-order the album on Itunes now.

Charlie will be playing an intimate tour to showcase his new material in May, and has just announced his largest headline show at The Roundhouse in London (capacity 3,000) on October 14th.
