Imposter - The Traps (Video Review)

Imposter – The Traps (Video Review)

Hailing from Birmingham The Traps are out with a new video for song Imposter. The Traps are; brothers Jamie and Nick Berry, James Minhas and Daniel Webb, and have been together since 2011.

Bringing their laid-back take on alternative pop, The Traps music is beefy and intelligent and led by  Jamie’s deep and unrelenting vocals. The track is surprisingly polished considering The Traps are a DIY sort of band. Having said that, the video isn’t polished, or professional, but in the most charming way. It’s a personal account of how life in a band, and on the road is, funny at times, and often touching as the track draws you in.

Definitely worth a listen, The Traps are non-evasive to the ears of any music genre fan, this is the definition of easy listening.

Released by Label Fandango Imposter will hit on March 17th as a double A-sider with track My Grip.
