This song is fantastic apart from one crucial element. The bare music is great and works well plus the lyrics are good (‘I’ll just do what you do; when you make a stand, I feel like I can too’) but the drab, droning voice of the singer puts the whole song on a place of unbalance. He isn’t quite in time with the music which gives you a sense of uneasiness that doesn’t make it sound ‘hip’ or ‘cool’ just down right annoying and even the loud, sloppy The Cure style guitar can’t make up for it.
