Field Day adds Summer Camp, Jessie Ware and Austra to line-up

Field Day, the one-day music extravaganza in London’s Victoria Park, have added Summer Camp, Jessie Ware and Austra to their 2012 line-up.  The announcement alsoincluded the news that Eats Everything, Kassem Mosse, Last Dinosaurs, Laurel Halo, Sunless ’97, When Saints Go Machine and Citizens will be on the bill.

The festival has grown immeasurably since its inception – organisers Tom Baker (of Eat Your Own Ears) and Marcus Weedon began by staging a humble musical gathering in a pub car park six years ago.  2012 is Field Day’s fifth outing and Electrelane – who played the first-ever event – return to the stage this year.  Franz Ferdinand are headlining, and are joined by Afrocubism, Andrew Bird, Beirut, Crocodiles, Errors, Django Django, Grimes, Gold Panda, Hudson Mohawke, Mazzy Star and more.  It takes place on 2 June.  For more information and tickets, visit
