BFI Southbank will screen the first full on screen Chemical Brothers’ live experience on February 3 at 20:30.

The stunning film was captured at Japan’s Fujirock Festival using 20 cameras and was directed by their visuals technician Adam Smith. Adam Smith is best known for directing the hit TV series Skins and Dr Who. Here he immerses the audience into the whole concert – weaving between the live clips into trippy visuals and the on site festival experience.

The Chemical Brothers’ Ed Simons said: “This film is the closest I will ever get to being at a Chemical Brothers show.  and yeah, it’s a beautiful experience.”

Adam Smith said: “The aim was to create a different type of concert film for a different type of show.”

He added: “Over the course of the film, we are taken on a journey through the psychedelic trip that is the Chemical Brothers live experience.”
