Looking for something to do this weekend in London? Jo Golding has some ideas for you.

Riot In A Jam Jar
L-13 Light Industrial Workshop, Clerkenwell, 1st June – 3rd July, Sundays 12pm – 6pm
I reckon this is the coolest exhibition of work I’ve come across in a while. Ex-KLF star James Cauty’s artwork features a range of miniature sculptures showing riots between the police and citizens. It may sound pretty grim, but it’s not all doom and gloom as there’s an element of humour: one sculpture features Take That whilst another involves Prince Charles. Plus each sculpture is in a jam jar… bizarre and brilliant!

Incredible Edible Gingerbread House
Brunswick Shopping Centre, 3 – 5 June, 11am – 5pm
No you’re not dreaming, this really is a real life edible gingerbread house! It’s made from a bunch of yummy sweet treats including biscuits, meringues and cupcakes – magical! It’s all in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital so go along, donate a couple of quid and marvel at this brilliant creation! If you fancy making one yourself then you can join in with one of the gingerbread making classes for a small extra donation.

Wish You Were At Topshop
Oxford Circus, 1 – 4 June, 10am – 7pm
Head down to Topshop’s flagship store this weekend and you’ll be able to indulge in a mini self-photo shoot. It’s all about representing fashion in the digital age and the idea is that you get all dressed up, take your snap and create your own digital postcard. There’ll also be a few treats and competitions to add to the mix so keep your eyes peeled!

The Big Lunch
Nationwide, Sunday 5 June,
Organised by The Eden Project, this is a nationwide event that aims to bring communities together by encouraging them to have lunch with their neighbours. Events range from small get togethers to full blown street parties. Check the website to see where your local lunch is and go and join in the fun!

Roof Top Film Club
Queen of Hoxton, Shoreditch, 1 June – September, 8pm
Throughout the summer, set against the backdrop of the impressive Gherkin and Tower 42, this popular pub is running a rooftop cinema featuring screenings of all the best cult classic movies. This weekend there’s screenings of Topgun (Fri), Ghostbusters (Sat) and Weird Science (Sun). Tickets must be booked in advance through the website.
