Looking for something to do this weekend in London? Jo Golding has some ideas for you.

Marylebone Summer Fayre

10am – 5pm, Sunday 19 June, Marylebone High St
This Sunday, The Howard De Walden Estate have organised their annual summer fayre in support of the Teenage Cancer Trust. There’ll be food, drinks, dancing and music, as well as a fairground and loads of entertainment for all to enjoy. There’ll also be loads of stuff going on to raise as much money as possible for the charity. It’s a fantastic cause and changes the lives of kids with cancer across the UK so please give generously!

London Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival
10am – 5pm, Sunday 19 June, London Regatta Centre, Royal Albert Docks
If you’re anywhere near the Isle of Dogs this weekend then this is a must-see: 40 dragon boat teams competing for victory! It’s the 16th Dragon Boat Festival supported by The Hong Kong Executive Club and, as always, will feature plenty of entertainment, stalls, food and drink throughout the day. There’ll also be Kung Fu demonstrations and auctions for signed T-shirts by Sir Steve Redgrave and the current GB rowing team. Net proceeds are being donated to The Chinese Community Centre and Camden Chinese Community Centre.

West End Live
Saturday 18 – Sunday 19 June, Trafalgar Square
Looking to indulge in some London culture? Westminster City Council has joined forces with the Society of London Theatre to bring us a spectacular showcase of the glitzy West End’s offerings. There’ll be live bands, interactive exhibits from some of London’s best museums and galleries, and performances from West End shows such as Billy Elliot, The Wizard of Oz and Jersey Boys. And what’s best is it’s completely free! Huzazh!

11am – 5pm, Sunday 19 – Saturday 25 June, Old Spitalfields Market
If you’re looking to jazz up your culinary offerings then this is the market for you. Every producer at the market has won a prestigious Great Taste Award, meaning everything you try or buy has been made by foodie angels! Come, see, taste and buy. You won’t leave unhappy or empty-handed!
