WWE Best of PPV Matches 2017

This year WWE Home Video has released Best PPV Matches of 2017 DVD, and it was an excellent year for fantastic matches. Dream matches beam reality, and the rivalry between the two brands RAW and SMACKDOWN helped propel the WWE Universe to see matches that left them cheering, booing and for most of the cases of these matches leave them chanting, “This Is Awesome”.

The matches on the three disc DVD start from Royal Rumble 2017 all the way to Tables Ladders and Chairs 2017. From the beginning the excellent Renee Young plays hosting duties, who navigates us through the highlights that lead us to the matches themselves.

And I don’t know about everyone reading this from the WWE Universe, but 2017 had some of my favourite matches and thankfully included in this set:

AJ Styles vs. John Cena from the Royal Rumble – Just an incredible bout, and yes they had previous encounters but this one was one way to kick in the door of 2017 for both men.

When the former Smackdown Champion, Alexa Bliss arrived on RAW, she had one target, that was Bayley, and this is when we see Miss ‘Five Feet of Fury’ make her mark again in this RAW Women’s Championship Match as it’s Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley at Payback.

The Fatal 5-Way Match to Determine #1 Contender for the Universal Championship at Extreme Rules featuring Roman Reigns vs. Finn Bálor vs. Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Samoa Joe was a barrage of chaos, and destruction that made that PPV in my mind worth watching.

It was the match that cemented that two years of Bad Blood had been repaired as Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins had joined forces to face the clinical tag team ability of The Bar as at Summerslam it was the RAW Tag Team Championship Match pitting

Sheamus & Cesaro vs Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins.

And even dangerous Falls Count Anywhere Hell in a Cell Match provided by Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon, we’ve all seen Shane leap from high places and this was no exception but the ending left everyone in shock with a ripple affect that we will see continue to this years Royal Rumble.
