War Machine and Candice LeRae Officially Sign with WWE

“One of the planet’s most ferocious and intimidating tag teams is on its way to the WWE Performance Center”, here is how WWE announces the arrival of War Machine, the team of Hanson and Rowe.

Todd “War Beard Hanson” Smith and Raymond Rowe, “have terrorized teams around the world since forming an alliance in 2014”. Together, they have won Tag Team Championships in the United States with ROH, in England with What Culture Pro wrestling and in Japan with NJPW here they held the prestigious IWGP Tag Team Titles 2 times.

The burly brawlers have made smash-mouth collisions their stock in trade, yet they’re more than just thunderous power; deceptively agile and expertly skilled, the pair has perfected an array of double-team moves, helping them achieve success wherever they go.

With a gruff exterior that would look right at home beyond the wall in “Game of Thrones,” Smith & Rowe’s appearance alone is enough to strike fear in the hearts of opponents. As WWE asks, “could it be long before Smith & Rowe begin throwing their weight around in one of WWE’s Tag Team divisions?”

Candace LeRae shined during Mae Young Classic Tournament, as she made it all the way to the Quarterfinal Round. She also made a statement in NXT last April and October when she took part in battle royals to determine the contenders for NXT Women’s Championship. It was just a matter of time until WWE officially signs her. LeRae officially joined WWE Performance Center today.

Candice LeRae, aka Miss Johnny Gargano, is regarded as one of the top female wrestlers on the independent scene. She’s known for not backing down from anyone, no matter how much bigger they may be. The spunky Superstar has even battled male heavyweights like Kevin Owens and Cesaro.

LeRae’s tenacity and ability to endure punishment was on full display everywhere she wrestled, PWG, CZW, SHIMMER, Women Superstars Uncensored, NWA, ROH. She had teamed up with Joey Ryan as The World’s Cutest Tag Team for many years in different American promotions and in Japan for Dramatic Dream Team. The duo even became PWG World Tag Team Champion in 2014.
