ROH Final Battle Results: New Belts, New Champions

For its last PPV of the year, Ring of Honor historical PPV Final Battle was a surprising but also interesting one. Who would have thought Cody would leave the Hammerstein Ballroom without the ROH World Championship new belt, as a brand new title was presented yesterday night? Because, yes, Dalton Castle did it, ending the 175-day reign of Cody.

Another major event of the night, the creation of the Women of Honor Championship. A number of the women from the division came out as the belt was presented. Competition will begin on January 20 in Nashville, Tennessee. ROH announcer Ian Riccaboni announced Kelly Klein, Mandy Leon, Brandi Rhodes, Deonna Purrazzo, Jenny Rose, Jessie Brooks, Stella Grey, Sumie Sakai, and Japanese wrestling promotion Stardom’s Mayu Iwatani would be involved. Other ROH and Stardom could be included.
