The Wrestling Forecast – 18th to 24th September 2017

After some ups and downs over the course of the past week, PCW are still set to have their show on 22nd broadcast live, now on Powerbomb.tv, and the Evoque nightclub will play host on that evening to a card of matches including Lionheart taking on Jake Long, former Team Single members Tyson T-Bone and Bubblegum in an I Quit match (with the added stipulation that, should the latter lose, he will retire), The UK Hooligans defending the PCW Tag Team Championship against the NAK (BT Gunn & Chris Renfrew), and Dean Allmark putting the PCW Cruiserweight Championship on the line against the challenge of Chris Ridgeway.

Spread over the nights of 22nd and 23rd September, and emanating from the Starworks Warehouse in Wolverhampton, Fight Club: PRO are importing a raft of very interesting and unusual names in order to make Project Mayhem VI go with a bang. On the first night alone, “The Kiwi Buzzsaw” Travis Banks takes on WWE UK Tournament standout Jordan Devlin, US indie monster Jessika Havok tangles with Millie McKenzie and British Strong Style (Tyler Bate, Trent Seven & Pete Dunne) meet the Dragon Gate trio of Mochizuki, CIMA and EITA in six-man tag team action.

Also on 23rd, Pro Wrestling Chaos have the run of the Thornberry Leisure Centre for The Sound of Violence, where Sierra Loxton meets Veda Scott, Mark Andrews faces the challenge of Big Grizzly and Rickey Shane Page faces current King of Chaos Champion “The Pride of Wales” Eddie Dennis in a non-title match. And as if that was not enough, Canadian phenomenon “Speedball” Mike Bailey is also scheduled to appear on the card.

The TV cameras will be rolling at Hull Town Hall on 23rd for NGW’s Regeneration X 2017, and the show will feature the return of the Regeneration X Ladder Match in order to crown a brand new NGW GenX Champion, as well as appearances from Grado, former reality TV star Adam “Flex” Maxted and Nathan Cruz.

The Swanley White Oak Leisure Centre is the venue for IWP:UK on 24th, for their show titled Spotlight, at which there will be regulars such as “Smooth” Sammy Smooth on the card, in addition to the former member of the London Riots “Strangler” Davis taking on the returning WWE UK Champion “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne, in what promises to be a truly brutal and gruelling physical confrontation.
