WCPW Pro Wrestling World Cup Tournament Bracket Revealed

What Culture Pro Wrestling held a drawing yesterday to decide the final bracket of the Pro Wrestling World Cup inaugural tournament that will place from August 23 to 26 in different places in England (Milton Keynes the 23th, Manchester the 24th and Newcastle the 26th).

Since March, WCPC has been presenting shows all over the world to determine who of the 64 wrestlers involved will be the 16 final participants of the tournament. Two wrestlers from England, Scotland, Mexico, Canada, Germany, Japan, USA, and Rest of the World (8 different countries involved) will compete in these finals.

Will Ospreay and Zack Sabre Jr. will represent England, after defeating British Superstars like Marty Scurll or Jimmy Havoc. Joe Coffey and Kenny Williams will represent Scotland. Lucha Underground Superstars Rey Mysterio and Penta El Zero M (better known as Pentagon Dark) will be the Mexicans of the Cup.

Canada will be represented by Mike Bayley, aka Kitsune, and NJPW and PWG Superstar Michael Elgin. WxW stars Lucky Kid and Bad Bones will represent Germany. Hiromu Takahashi and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Kushida defeated respectively fellow NJPW wrestlers Ryusuke Tagushi and Bushi to represent Japan.

Ricochet, Matt Sydal, Moose, James Storm, Keith Lee (who’s replacing Cody), Bobby Fish, David Starr and Jay Lethal will compete on July 21 in the USA qualifier in Manchester. Mark Davis (Australia), Travis Banks (New Zealand), Tom La Ruffa (better known as Sylvester LeFort on NXT) for France, Jurn Simmons (Netherlands), Angelico (South Africa), Icarus (Hungary), Flash Morgan Webster (Wales) and RJ Singh (India) will compete on July 22 for the Rest of the World in Newcastle.

Tickets for these shows are available on WCPW website. For those living abroad, all Pro Wrestling World Cup tournament matches will be broadcast for free on the WCPW YouTube channel, with the two-night finals being broadcast live.
