WWE has just confirmed the match everybody was expecting to happen at Wrestlemania 33. The Undertaker will go one-on-one against Roman Reigns at The Grandest Stage of Them All in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday, April 2nd.
Since 1991, every match of the Undertaker at Wrestlemania has been an event on his own, building the Legacy of the Deadman and an unbelievable streak of 23 matchs won and one lost.
This year, The Phenom will have to deal with The Big Dog. Roman Reigns eliminated the Deadman at the Royal Rumble match. And last week the Taker came to Raw to remind Reigns that his legend is not done and WWE is not Reigns personal yard yet.
Even if Roman Reigns has achieved a lot on his own over the last three years, becoming a 3-time World Champion and a one-time United States Champion, he’s the most booed Superstar of the whole WWE.
Appearing only a few times a year, always to make a statement in the ring, the Undertaker still remains one of the most beloved WWE wrestler. An icon the fans respect and worship. Even after more than 25 years of an incredible journey in WWE.
They say that to be the Man, you have to beat the Man. For Roman Reigns here lies the challenge. To become the new WWE Phenom, he will have to beat the Phenom in his personal yard, The Showcase of the Immortals.
