AFI have released a brand new video for ‘Snow Cats’, premiering on Pitchfork.
Seeming to rediscover their emo/punk roots, AFI strike fast and hard with ‘Snow Cats’. The visuals seem to be plucked from the 60’s with matching white outfits, rotating closeups and tunneling in-and-out sequences.
The bands 10th studio album ‘AFI (The Blood Album)’ is set for release on January 20th through Concord, and they will also be over next summer to play the Download Festival.
AFI are also set to head out as main support for Deftones on their May 2017 UK headline shows.
Recorded at Megawatt Studios in Los Angeles, AFI (The Blood Album) was produced by Jade Puget and co-produced by Matt Hyde and is the follow-up to 2013’s Burials. Since their 1995 debut album Answer That and Stay Fashionable, AFI have written and recorded five top ten hit singles, hit No. 1 on The Billboard 200, garnered worldwide critical acclaim and amassed a fiercely loyal global following whose members number in the millions.
