Chambers Release Haunting New Video For ‘Hostile’

Hull and Leeds based duo Chambers have released a new video for their single ‘Hostile’. The dark, haunting and eerie video is reminiscent of a horror film or video similar to White Zombie/Rob Zombie, or in their words, “sister-doom”.

On the new video the band said; “We shot the video with Hull based videographer Josh Moore at Temple Newsam House in Leeds. It’s a Tudor-Jacobean house said to be haunted by ghosts. The location was perfect and the result was beautifully dark.”

“There’s something that excites us about horror”, explains drummer Eleanor-Cara Churchill “We naturally just went down more of a dark and doomy route. It wasn’t something we planned, it was just what we felt at the time and it’s now stuck with us.”

With influences spanning from Nirvana, Interpol and The Pixies to Kendrick Lamar, Reggie Snow and Deap Valley, their taste is nothing short of eclectic. The band have also racked up an impressive list of support slots, playing with the likes of Black Honey, The Mirror Trap, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Heck and Clean Cut Kid.

‘Hostile’ is released December 2nd on I’m Not From London Records.
