Yeezy Movie Approachin’

The bat-shit crazy creativity of Kanye West continues to run with the announcement of a new movie based around 2013’s ‘Yeezus’ album.

Directed by hip-hop music video legend Hype Williams and written by American Psycho scribe Bret Easton Ellis, details remain sparse but here’s a teaser vid.

As you can see, or not, depends if you actually watched it before continuing to read, other than concert footage from the Yeezus tour the films plot remains mysterious. It will be intriguing to see what the film holds in terms of actual plot. Maybe some vingettes intercut with tour footage, which to be honest does look like an impressive stage show. West is someone who does have a good eye for visuals, as showcased in his Runaway short. It didn’t make a lick of sense but looked nice and if you’re vaguely familiar with Williams work you should know that even if Yeezus The Movie makes little to no sense at least it will look nice.
