Twin Falls – June or The Devil Waiting (Single Review)

Rating:

Delving deep in to the world of the alternative and enchanting we have Twin Falls with their acoustic track called June or The Devil Waiting from EP If you miss me just paint a picture.

If you listened to the BBC West Intro show then you would of heard them played as well as an interview. Having recently supported Get Cape, Wear Cape Fly at The Cheese and Grain in Frome, they come highly acclaimed and sort after with their unique sound, soft melodies and lyrical genius. I personally cannot speak highly enough of them, with regular plays on Radio 1, I am not the only one to appreciate their music.

Based in Somerset they are heavily instrumental, with the use of a violin and accordion it isn’t long before you are hypnotised in to falling in love with them. It takes me back to the country, stripped back, raw and with a harmony that touches the soul. They are the kind of band that sound brilliant whether acoustic or plugged in, and it works either way.
