Amaryllis – Revolt (EP Review)

Ready and waiting to head out on Tour in June with Ugly Love, London based Rockers ‘Amaryllis’ release a brand new Ep called Revolt and it it set to cement their status as the ones to watch in 2014. Having already toured with ‘Elliot Minor’  and ‘Boy Jumps Ship’ they are no strangers to the stage and this new EP demonstrates a maturity that will carry them on their new journey.

Going in hard with ‘Kings’ and rounding it off with the much softer ‘Strangers in August’ ‘Revolt’ is a complete EP that sums up what they are all about in five songs. For fans of ‘You me at Six’ or ‘Paramore’ this is sure to be your thing with emotive vocals and a solid backing.

The best track by far is number five on the EP, it allows us to hear a softer side to them and an ability to be diverse in their music. Each song it its self could be a hit and I am certain the future is bright for these guys.
