London based rockers Amaryllis will release their new EP The Revolt on 12th May 2014. Formed in late 2012, riff-rockers Amaryllis fuse alternative rock with pure electrifying heaviness which gives them their very unique sound. With live performances as energetic as their debut album EP Amaryllis, this band is certainly one to keep your eye on.

This quintet gained their popularity last year after releasing their free self-titled EP, which has now clocked up over 10,000 downloads and over 25,000 plays, giving them an unparalleled fan base in the UK unsigned live scene. Check out that EP now via the bands Facebook or Bandcamp page.

This new release is full of honest rock riffs, with an alternative yet melodic combination and it’s prominent that the band has really tried to produce something that can appeal to all rock fans. With influences from the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins and Biffy Clyro, who offer more emotional value within their music, Amaryllis made it their mission to take their listener places that most bands wouldn’t.

Having supported bands such as Elliot Minor and The Dirty Youth recently, this quintet are gearing up for this release, and will head out on a co-headline tour with Ugly Love to promote it this summer.

For fans of Sleeping With Sirens and Pierce The Veil, Amaryllis’ new EP The Revolt is released on 12th May 2014.
