Dead Frequency are a new addition to the rock-gig circuit this year, as they’re touring with their newest EP: Desire for Fire. The EP boasts three anthemic tracks, although each stands separately and alone, each of them as likely as the last to circle your head. The bands sound is clean and crisp and played with surgical precision. This isn’t the sort of rock music that makes you want to growl, throw things or get into fights, its happy listening, head nodding- foot tapping, a smiley-sub-genre of rock.
An English Glam-Punk band, Dead Frequency are a high energy melting pot of The Darkness and My Chemical Romance. Through Holier Than Thou Records, Desire for Fire is out now and like this review and reviewer- is short but sweet.
