Dublin band September Girls have unleashed the video for their forthcoming single, ‘Green Eyed’.
Comprised of Paula (bass/vocals), Caoimhe (guitar/vocals), Lauren (keys/vocals), Jessie (guitar/vocals) and Sarah (drums), September Girls draw on a wide and eclectic variety of influences (Phil Spector, The Cure, and The Velvet Underground to name but a few) in crafting their distinctive ‘dream noise-pop’ sound.
Taken from their acclaimed album Cursing The Sea and inspired by the call and response vocal style of a 60s song called “Look in My Diary” by Reparata and the Delrons, ‘Green Eyed’ is about the trials and tribulations of misadventurous love. Dreamy guitars and haunting vocals intertwine to create a heart-breaking slice of guitar-pop, dripping with reverb and character.
