We Are The Physics to play free gig at Merchant City Festival

Are you fond of fast paced, yelpy, adrenaline filled punk rock? What about some electro thrown in there? Yes? Then you’ll love We are the Physics. Their second album Your Friend, The Atom was released back in October last year and have released the singles Goran Ivanisevic, Applied Robotics and Napoleon Loves Josephine.

This weekend they are playing a set at the Merchant City Music festival in their native city of Glasgow. The festival is also showcasing other bands such as Cherry Wave, Vasquez and Ex Wives. When a band play their native city it usually guarantees an electric show so it should be one hell of a festival.

The band also has expanded from music to the big screen and will be appearing with a role in ‘God Help the Girl’, a feature film directed by Belle and Sebastian’s Stuart Murdoch, so the band are looking like they are well on the up.
