If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if two triangles were to fall in love, and then have to flee an army of advancing rectangular blocks who objected to their union, then look no further than the video for We Can Be Ghosts Now, the first single from Parklands, the second album from London based artist Hiatus. Named after a block of flats in Peckham Rye, South London, this ode to shape and structure is the perfect home for the aforementioned track with its otherworldly animation and simplistic colour scheme. The music itself is mature and minimalist, gradually building in intensity but seemingly in no hurry to go anywhere fast. This is a track tailor made for chilling out to, forgetting your troubles and instead, following the adventures of two inanimate objects. What more could you want?
