In the final episode of A Young Doctor’s Notebook, Younger Doctor (Daniel Radcliffe) is becoming more and more like his older self (Jon Hamm). Since his first hit of morphine for his stomach problem, he’s started taking it regularly and has also started to suffer from the side effects (such as wetting the bed).
But he’s suddenly a very busy man, as word has spread about how he saved the young girl in the previous episode by inserting a tube into her throat. Older Doctor is still under suspicion in 1934, and appears to be attempting to overdose on morphine to avoid further interrogation.
