Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs tour announced
Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs have announced that after playing festivals and a US tour, he will return for a tour of the UK, starting at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush on 10th October.
The Oxford-born DJ, real name Orlando Higginbottom, released his début album of electronic dance music, ‘Trouble,’ on 11th July. It received generally positive reviews, scoring an average of 76 out of 100 on Metacritic. Two of the songs on the album, previously released as singles, “Trouble” and “Tapes & Money” have been named ‘Record of the Week’ by Radio 1′s Nick Grimshaw
Higginbottom likes to give the impression that he doesn’t take things too seriously; his music videos and live gigs usually include flamboyant costumes including, unsurprisingly, dinosaurs, giving the concerts a carnival-like atmosphere.
After London he’ll head off around the country, stopping off in Bristol, Edinburgh and Liverpool among other places, before finishing on 24th October at the HMV Institute in Birmingham.
