London’s multi-venue festival The Camden Crawl has announced that The Cribs, Spector and Clock Opera have been added to the line-up. The Cribs’ appearance will firmly establish 2012 as their comeback year, while home-grown talents Spector and Clock Opera are two of London’s brightest current acts.
Also among the freshly announced acts are Dan Mangan and Francois and the Atlas Mountains. They join the likes of Death In Vegas, Alabama 3, Glasvegas, The Futureheads, Gaz Coombes, The Raincoats, Kids In Glass Houses, Actress, Lady Leshurr, Ghetts, Sway, And So I Watch You From Afar on the bill. And it isn’t only music fans who are in for a treat – comedy lovers will be tickled by the talents of Rufus Hound, Tony Law and Abandonman.
True to its reputation as a diverse and representative celebration, The Camden Crawl has invited YouTube sensation SBTV to curate Sunday’s stage at The Electric Ballroom. Among the hotly-tipped newcomers appearing are Ash Catch’Em, Context, Roxxxan and Mic Righteous. A selection of London’s favourite clubs will also host after parties with music from D/R/U/G/S, Rustie, Urban Nerds, Purple Turtle and many more.
