Summer Sundae announces first wave of acts

Summer Sundae Weekender is returning to Leicester for its twelfth consecutive year this August, and has announced the first acts on the 2012 line-up.

Big names to appear are Katy B, Reverend and the Makers, Asian Dub Foundation and Public Image Ltd – the post Sex Pistols project of John Lydon.  Also on the bill are Tune-Yards, Francois and the Atlas Mountains, Willy Mason and The Magic Tombolinos.  In keeping with its reputation for supporting local artists, Leicester-based singer-songwriter Grace Petrie will also appear, alongside Birmingham folk band Goodnight Lenin.

The festival will take place from 17-19 August in De Montfort Hall Gardens, with some acts in the hall itself.
