Cardiff singer-songwriter Joshua Caole releases his debut album, Moon Palace, on Bullo Pill Records in April. Following the release of his EP Slow Hearts in December 2010, Joshua has gone from strength to strength, supporting the likes of Smoke Fairies, Sarabeth Tucek and Charlie Parr.
He appeared at Lounge on the Farm and Apple Cart festivals last year and garnered quite a following – Adam Walton of BBC Wales describes his music as having ‘death and beauty at its heart’. Now he is set to release his first full-length record, which is named after a book by Paul Auster. With influences ranging from country legend Gram Parsons to Bright Eyes, it’s set to be an interesting listen. Joshua will be supporting Christiaan Webb (formerly of The Webb Brothers) on tour from April.
